Aurvane is real, and it has a trailer

After three years in an attic, we are finally ready to show the world the game we have been quietly building.

By Ilse Varga · Game director

Three years ago, Aurvane was a single grey box on a single grey island. You carried a lantern, the lantern ran out, and the game ended. It was not fun. It was, however, the first prototype that made all of us stay late.

Today we are proud to announce it properly: a hand-crafted exploration adventure about a lantern-bearer crossing a broken sky, coming to PC and Mac in 2027.

What you can do today

  • Watch the trailer. Ninety seconds of dusk, recorded in-engine with no cinematic tricks.
  • Wishlist the game. It is the single most useful thing you can do for a small team.
  • Join the Discord. We share work in progress there first, and we read everything.

Why now

We wanted to announce only when the core of the game was settled: the lantern, the climbing and the way islands drift. That moment came this summer, when a playtester spent forty minutes on one island because they wanted to, not because they were lost.

The best compliment a quiet game can get is silence, followed by “one more island”.

What comes next

A closed playtest this winter, a free demo in spring and, if the wind is kind, launch in autumn 2027. We will post here every few weeks along the way. Thank you for reading, and for carrying a little light with us.
